The Diabetes Control in Clinical Practice Group (DCCP) consists of a diverse group of healthcare professionals with expertise in caring for patients with type 2 diabetes and a passion for changing the way diabetes is treated.

The DCCP Group is supported through an educational grant and members are solely responsible for content. The first meeting of the DCCP Group was held in Santa Fe, New Mexico in September of 2006. Educational slides and case studies addressing cultural competency were developed for a series of regional programs. Resources created by the group will be available for healthcare providers including online CME opportunities which will quantitatively assess the value of the education provided.
